Stand Up For Diversity Thurrock
March 2024
Grays Gurdwara
An evening of three-minute mini-talks and soap-box shout-outs that put a spotlight on diversity.
For this event Essex Cultural Diversity Project teamed up with Start Thurrock, who has a vision where more people in Thurrock can enjoy and participate in arts and cultural activity in their local area.
Thanks to everyone who came along to make new connections, find out more about what’s in their area, promote their own projects, and collectively celebrate diverse voices involved in the arts today. There was food and refreshments as part of the event, kindly provided by the Sikh community at Grays Gurdwara.
Start Thurrock is supported by Arts Council England through the Creative People and Places programme.
