The grand finale for the Festival of Thetford & Punjab 2023 brought together colourful and vibrant performances with artists from India, East Anglia, and the UK.
It featured the Dhol Enforcement Agency, Circus Raj, the Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band, Virsa Punjab Bhangra Dancers, Sikh martial arts from the Baba Fateh Singh Gatka Akhara, and a Bhangra DJ, all framed by Kinetika’s beautiful Silk River Flags. With food, Henna Art and heritage stalls.

Festival of Thetford & Punjab 2023

This event was part of Festival of Thetford & Punjab 2023, which took place in venues across the town as part of a whole weekend of cultural celebrations inspired by the life and legacy of the Duleep Singh family, the last Royal Family of the Punjab who lived in Elveden near Thetford. There were talks, workshops and activities for all to enjoy, as well as the Thetford Mela on Sunday, with performances from Circus Raj and the Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band, bhangra dancing, Sikh martial arts, dhol drumming and more.
