United Threads of Thetford and Punjab: Batik Workshops
As part of her project, United Threads of Thetford and Punjab, artist Sally Chinea is collaborating with Thetford residents to design and create flags and bunting for the Festival of Thetford & Punjab this July. The flags and bunting will welcome the local Thetford community to the Thetford Mela, as well as the wider Punjabi diaspora travelling from as far as Wolverhampton, Gravesend, East London and Birmingham.
We invite communities to take part in workshops in the run up to the festival.
