Voices of Epping Forest Podcast Launch

Saturday 9 November, Epping Forest Visitor Centre, Chingford

Talia Randall, commissioned artist for Epping Forest, has been busy working with communities throughout the summer to create a new podcast series that champions diversity, celebrates nature, and captures the voices of regular visitors to the forest. The podcasts will be launched at the start of November, and Talia is hosting a get together in the forest to thank partners, participants and their families.

Talking points of the podcasts include women of colour and LGBTQ+ groups who feel empowered by the forest; access to nature; the history of witches connected to the site; and how children and young people relate to the forest. Talia is passionate about helping others explore this vital green space, as well as discussing how issues regarding ableism, sexism and racism intersect and can sometimes prevent us engaging with the nature around us.
